CHICAGO, March 25, 2025 — Amper Technologies, the company behind the FactoryOS that is redefining manufacturing execution systems with an AI-powered approach, announced a strategic leadership evolution intended to fuel the company’s next phase of growth. Cofounder Akshat Thirani will step into a new role as Founder & President, while longtime board member Brad Bullington will lead the charge as CEO.
Thirani cofounded Amper seven years ago with a vision to transform the way manufacturers work. “Amper has reached an exciting stage of growth and is well-positioned to be the next leader in industrial technology. While I’ve enjoyed owning go-to-market strategy and scaling initiatives, my passion has always been in product innovation and working closely with customers. Stepping into the role of Founder & President allows me to focus on what I love most: collaborating with our customers, developing new technologies, and expanding our strategic partnerships, ensuring Amper remains at the forefront of manufacturing innovation for years to come.”
To lead Amper into its next phase of scale, the company is excited to announce Brad Bullington as its new CEO. Over the past 6 years, Bullington has played a key role in Amper’s journey, first as an investor and board member, and then as Executive Chairman.
With over 20 years of experience leading high-growth technology companies to multiple nine-figure exits, Bullington brings a unique blend of strategic vision and operational expertise. With his deep knowledge of Amper’s business and vision, combined with his proven track record, Bullington is uniquely positioned to drive Amper’s operational excellence and continued growth.
“Brad and I have shared and shaped a vision for Amper over the last several years, and he’s been an essential part of the business. We’ve worked in the trenches through Amper's ups and downs, and he’s always brought a thoughtful perspective in growing our team and business. His passion for the company and experience positions him to make this next phase a big success,” added Thirani.
This leadership evolution marks an exciting chapter for Amper, bringing further expertise and operational rigor to the company. Customers can expect enhanced processes and a faster cadence of product launches as Amper continues to redefine manufacturing execution systems and build the AI-powered FactoryOS.
“With Akshat’s visionary leadership and my focus on scaling, we’ll make a great team as we plan to accelerate growth and deliver even greater value to our customers. I am honored to take on this role and look forward to working closely with Akshat and the talented Amper team,” said Bullington.
